I used Martin’s Man with a Van Hire service on 10th November from Elmwood Terrace. Anyone know the Lochend Colonies? SUPER NARROW cobbled lanes from the days before cars were dreamed of in the 1800s!! Martin did not bat an eyelid, just got on with negotiating the awkward manouvering, no bother !! -I had text him late in the evening to ask for a quote when my pal was a no show with his car, I was DEFINETLY IN A TIGHT SPOT for uplift the next morning !! Martin got back to me SUPERFAST with an arrangement to suit me for the morning !!Martin was PUNCTUAL ON THE DOT (IMPORTANT as I needed to be at work afterward.He got on with the work loading his good sized Removal van, no complaints despite my MASSIVE UNDERESTIMATE of the quantity of stuff- my memory had become HUGELY DISTORTED in the months I had not seen it ALL!! He transported my MANY BOXES AND BAGS to Len lothian @ Granton square quickly and effIciently and saved me a load of bother by allowing me to travel with him in the van. I was going to use a van rental company and researched several companies, the quotes were OUTRAGEOUS in comparison to Martin’s deal. It was by far the better deal with the extra labour which I needed due to having a shed load of stuff (it was LITERALLY in a shed!) The labour and van was all in with the price and it saved me time as the job was at quite short notice and I wanted it done urgently. What is more he dropped me off at work on the way back, what a gentleman. Martin was very professional, friendly and very straight with me, an excellent Removal service and I would recommend Martin to anyone looking to move !!

Martin and Michael were exceptional on the day of our home removal. We only had two weeks notice to move so to get anyone at all in Edinburgh at that short notice was a God send. Martin had come round to scope the job and give us a definitive cost. We moved from Johns Place in Leith to Queensferry Road. The guys were in with the larks on the morning of the move and loaded up their vans in super quick time. Having said that great care was taken not to bash the furniture. From the 6th floor it really was a monumental effort even with a lift. And by lunchtime we were in to the new place. Thanks a lot guys – we couldn’t have done it without you!?

Pronto Service with a smile

Brilliant Service and very reasonable. Our company needed a Man with a Van pronto (A last minute hitch in a very important event left us high and dry with a van load needing to be delivered within a few hours). We were lucky enough to find Martin. He was prompt, reliable and delivered on the dot. He also picked up next day at an early hour as requested and made an otherwise fraught situation run smoothly. Would not hesitate to recommend him.?

I text in a request for a move in the early morning; needing a van for later that day. Martin was good enough to fit me in at the very end of the day at a very reasonable price on very short notice – what more could you ask for? I had a large number of boxes and briefcases, a desk/chair and a number of large fragile items like flatscreen TVs and computer workstations. Everything was handled with care and take from Spottiswoode Road to Cowgate head in Edinburgh at the end of November 09 – no problems. Definitely reccommended. Cheers,
